I work. And I work. And I work. But I’m trying to do better with the balance thing. Maybe.

It took me three tries to remember my sign in to the blog. I’m sure Ter will find that vastly amusing.  Anyway just wanted to jump in here and see how everyone is doing and what’s going on in your world. The economy stinks and I can tell ya that first hand as my hubby got laid off in March and has yet to be able to find anything close to what he used to do. Talk about strees, right?

We are fortunate though, or so I keep reminding myself. We’ve got our health, our family and of course, we’ve got our animals.

I hope that all of you out there in blog land are hanging in there too.

The new boss says go with this carrier because we’re all with this carrier. So I change. And get absolutely no service what so ever at my house. I can’t even go sit in my car and make phone calls. What the heck is up with that?

Oye…so now I must go fight with the phone company and try to port my new number into my old plan that happens to be with another carrier. Like this is going to happen. I might as well try to stop world hunger.

And I really don’t have time for all this. I have a book I need to write. Oye.

I travelled to Atlanta this past week for my training and had a good time. Missed my family though and it’s always hard to be away from them.

But do you ever wonder if your fav authors have normal problems?
yep. You can put a great big check mark by that item. Whew.

And when I decided that I finally needed to have a Wii because it looks like so much fun and primarily because Dakota and Ter keep talking about it giving me Nintendo envy so l what’s a girl supposed to do? And you know it, of course there is not one fricken Wii in the state of North Carolina. My luck right? I know tis true.

And if you happen to work in a store that sells Wii’s in the state of North Carolina. Have pity on a women who doesn’t have one and save your crackerific commentary for someone who isn’t stressed out to the max okay? Okay. I really appreciate it.

Other than that the family is doing good and I think we’re gonna be okay. Wish I was going with everyone to RT this year but I guess I’m gonna have save that for next year.

However, I do believe that my dear boss is having second thoughts about nay saying me on the ole fluey patooey because he ain’t feelin so fine himself this evenin and yeppers he unpacked shipment this week since he finally taught me how to work the register which is something that I really wasn’t crazy about learning. Me and money? eh…not so much. I’d rather unpack boxes or help people. I like helping people. Normally.

I digress. So all last week I was sick and I’m only feeling up to about 50% so far. We’ll see how the rest of the week goes. There’s been lots of stress at my house and I hate to even bring this up but if you don’t see me for a little bit I want cha to know why. My hubby, the man that puts up with all my nonsense, works in the construction industry and if you follow the news even a little bit you know that his industry is sucking wind bad. Especially for residential. Well, it finally hit us and we got the news quite suddenly last week that like he wouldn’t have a paycheck at the end of this month.

Wammo!

Tell me that doesn’t suck right? So we’re scramblin’ and trying to make arrangements and figure stuff out so if I seem to be a little well, off kilter shall we say? You know why. It sucks. It’s life. And we’re gonna make it through this but if you could see your way to like keep us in your thoughts. We’d sure appreciate it!

He is the sexiest man I’ve ever ever seen. My friend AJ is forever teasing me about it but it’s true. Honestly. While I loved him in Rush, I think I fell in love with the kind of character he plays in Conagher. The cowboy who pulls notes out of the tumble weed and then writes his own back. Well, its a bit special and I’ll forever have a place in my heart for him.

So who is your secret crush? Someone you like that maybe you’ve never ever told another soul.

But hey, I understand that everybody has got to do their thing. I can appreciate that. And I’m only there part time doing my thang. So it’s all cool, right? Right!

So I’m gainfully employed once again. Hubby wasn’t happy that I wasn’t home at 9:30 though. He had the grumpy face on. We’ll see. LOL. My family is spoiled rotten.

But I enjoyed it. A lot. And let me tell you. Samuel L. Jackson still has it.He is one cool bad dude in this movie. I loved his hair.

Other than that, I spent today getting tax stuff together. Yuck. And trying to figure out ways to get fired from my part-time job that I haven’t even started yet. Oh, yes. It’s true I”m going to be selling shoes. This ought to be hysterical. I’m not thrilled. And my family thinks its funny. I find no humor in this what so ever. We’ll see how long it lasts. *grin* I’m sure I can get fired for something, if I try hard enough. No, really, being serious for a moment, I need to help out a bit so I guess this is the best way. I could do worse things yes?

But there is something in his eyes when you watch him sing, this confidence that exudes sex appeal. It would not be a far stretch for me to paint him as a super-natural creature. A muse, a vampire, or some other naughty creature. Maybe a male siren. He has the most wonderfully deep voice that sends chills down my spine.
