Any other H.I.M fans out there?

    By Samantha | February 19, 2008

2052021560_52b0c4c478.jpgMy friend Terri laughs at me because I love H.I.M. and think that there is something soooo sexy about Ville Valo. I cannot put my finger on it. And no offense Ville, but it’s not like you’re this gorgeous-make me drop to my knees-incredibly hunky dude.

But there is something in his eyes when you watch him sing, this confidence that exudes sex appeal. It would not be a far stretch for me to paint him as a super-natural creature. A muse, a vampire, or some other naughty creature. Maybe a male siren. He has the most wonderfully deep voice that sends chills down my spine.

Take a listen here and tell me what you think.

What bands or singers defy rational logic for you? Or better yet, that you get totally ragged on about by your friends?

He is absolutely devilish; I even keep some of their videos in my “Inspire me!” favorites folder. Couldn’t agree more. :)

OK. I confess. I am an ABBA junkie. I also love Debbie Gibson, Tiffany and Britney before she went crazy. I loved the Fame LA tv show (and of course the original Fame tv show) and I own the Dreams soundtrack from the short lived John Stamos television show. (And you though Heart recorded “Alone” first- wrong! It was on that show.) Also love Grease 2 and The Pirate Movie music. Yup, I get ragged on alot! LOL!

Whew! So I’m not alone, Katie? So relieved and yes he def inspires. LOL

Lori-Love Grease 1&2, lurve me some ABBA “Mama Mia” being one of my fav’s. Loved Debbie Gibson, not so much a Tiff or Britt fan, although Brit did have a few songs I really liked.

Dakota? I’m shocked no “shapalled” *snort* Now how did I know you were going to say that. And ya know, you just have to love Barry. I mean the man is a genius. True?

And I promise not to rag any of you for your choices. Well, at least not today. LOL

I have to say Maynard from Tool is awesome. His voice is so great, live and on their albums. I also love Eddie Vedder’s voice. I can listen to Tool or A Perfect Circle 24 hours a day and never get tired of it.

Well, I think my choices are bit mainstream. I used die for Rick Springfield. But keep in mind I was a teenager. Oh wait I did see him in concert in my 30’s. I love Bono Vox from U2. Billy Idol…oh baby! Dont forget Harry Connick Jr. A total babe. But the only babe that gets me in trouble is Ewan McGregor. I have a weak spot for the Scott.

I saw Rick Springfield last year! LOL! And I actually got to meet him and get pictures with him the year before that. He is really nice and he totally rocks still!! That is one seriously sexy senior citizen although he did not look as good in person as he does on stage………

Jennifer~ The guys from tool is cool. I like them too. My tastes run all over the place. I was just listening to Blake Lewis’ new cd and it’s off the hook. But then I knew his stuff was gonna be craz-ee good anyway.

Ah, Rick Springfield…humming “Jessie’s Girl” I think an entire generation of women fell in love with him and Dr. Noah Drake in between bouts of Luke and Laura on GH. I remember rushing home from high school just to catch the next episode. Good warm fuzzy memories.

Tanya~ girl. All great choices. All of them.

And Ter…you know I was just joshin with ya. But you do laugh, I may not be able to hear you but I know you do it. LOL. But it’s okay. I kinda laugh at myself too.

      Samantha!!!
I had a big crush on Rick Springfield as a teenager…and got to meet him. He was very sweet and patient with me, considering I was drooling on his shoes at the time.
My guilty passion is…(biting lip) Jason Statham. He just makes me want to take all my clothes off…hee hee. I also have to say this H.I.M. guy is pretty hot. I can see why you love him Samantha!!
As long as there is room on your heart for me and Sam Elliott, have at it hon…

AJ! How sweet! You posted on my blog. Aw…you know that no one will ever ever take your or Sam’s place in my heart. Nevah! Evah!

Jason Statum? Oh, Yummy! I loved him in The Transporter wasn’t it? I may be getting the movie wrong but he rocked that black suit. Woo yeah. Just saw Jumper tonight. It was awesome. A little light on plot but hey, the special effects were mad wicked.

And hey Rick Springfield is STILL hot. He ain’t dead yet. Fer sure…*grin*

Thanks so much for stopping by sweets.

Oh, and Lori? You lucky thing! Getting to meet Rick in person. I am in fan awe of you and AJ. I swear tis not fair to be stuck in the boon docks.
      *pout*

H.I.M. is the bomb diggity, such a sexy voice and mysterious look. I was just listening to “Beautiful.” I also love the music of Marilyn Manson, particularly his covers of 80s songs like “Sweet Dreams are Made of These” and “Tainted Love.”
